EVP recordings should be taken with respect. Speak clearly and concisely, it is easy to forget that whispering or yelling is not nesseccary. The entity can hear you when you speak normally. On a recording if you whisper your voice becomes illegible and could be confused for phenomena as can yelling. Remember to address the entity respectfully and give it time to answer before going on to your next question. Lengthy recordings are not helpful either, a one to four minute recording is a good length. Also our recorders alert you when they are recording with a red light, if the recorder is picking up nothing but your voice then it probably wont help in the investigation of paranormal activity at that site. Turn off the recorder and you can always try it again later. As a note... do not listen to the recording at the site it is rude and offensive. If you think you really have something good and you have to hear it ask your group leader to take you to a place where you can listen to it.

(Electronic Voice Phenomena)

Below are some EVPs recorded on some of our numerous investigations. These voices were inaudible to us at the time of recording.

A woman's voice whispering "God, you people" on the rape trail. Only male investigators were present.

God, You people...

Before mark speaks, you can here a feminine voice say "nowhere"...AS he speaks, a raspy whisper can be heard saying "everywhere".

Nowhere...everywhere

This recording was taken in Mansfield Center Cemetary. A man's voice can be heard saying "No one...Nowhere...No one" over the top of the investigator's voices.

No one...
